SPORTS MEDIA / WEB SERVICE
Toyota Times Sports
Live sitetoyotatimes-sports.toyota
A sports media platform where the live stadium experience and the system run as one — fans join real-time lotteries from their seats. Built across the front end, a custom CMS and the AWS infrastructure.
Front end
Shipped more than ten new features while establishing the component architecture and coding standards alongside them. At a size where several people touch the same code every day, agreeing on how it is written mattered as much as the features themselves.
Custom CMS and data migration
Built the admin the editorial team uses daily, from the screens through to the API, and migrated the data store from DynamoDB to PostgreSQL. Editing features increasingly assumed relations, and the original choice had stopped matching how the product was actually used.
Infrastructure
Defined the new environment as code with AWS CDK and SAM, and standardized the deployment process — removing the steps that depended on someone remembering them, so the same run produces the same result.
What I brought to the team
Introduced generative AI into reading specifications and code, and into onboarding new members. The aim was not individual speed but how quickly the team catches up with what already exists.
